Re: Rebranding of Mister And Miss Lesotho Unite to Misters of Lesotho

Maseru, Lesotho
The Board and Management of Mister And Miss Lesotho Unite wish to formally announce a strategic rebranding of our organisation. Effective immediately, we will operate under the new name: Misters of Lesotho.
This decision was made following a comprehensive review of our mandate, audience engagement, and national impact over the past edition.
Reasons for the Name Change:
1. Growing Male Participation
Over the past edition up to date, we have consistently received significantly higher registrations from young men than young women. To date, male applications account for more than 70% of total entries. The new name better reflects the demographic we serve and the community that has embraced the platform most actively.
2. Focused Mandate and Impact
As Misters of Lesotho, we will sharpen our focus on male leadership development, mentorship, mental health advocacy, and youth empowerment. This allows us to design programs, partnerships, and pageantry that speak directly to the challenges and opportunities facing young Basotho men today.
3. National Representation
The name Misters of Lesotho positions our organisation to better represent masculinity with purpose, dignity, and service. We aim to groom ambassadors who will champion education, culture, tourism, and social responsibility across all 10 districts.
We remain deeply grateful to all past contestants, sponsors, partners, and supporters — both male and female — who have built Mister And Miss Lesotho Unite into what it is today. While the name is changing, our commitment to excellence, integrity, and nation-building remains unchanged.
We look forward to unveiling new initiatives under Misters of Lesotho and to continuing to serve as a platform that uplifts, empowers, and celebrates the young men of our Kingdom.
