Mafoso names new-look 45-man provisional squad for COSAFA Cup

Likuena coach Bob Mafoso has named a new-look 45-man provisional squad for the 2026 COSAFA Cup.

The squad is dominated by uncapped and young players plying their trade in the Vodacom Premier League.

Lebohang Lesako, 23, of Orbit College is the only foreign-based player named in the squad. The midfielder has won just three caps for Likuena.

Only 30 players will report for camp at the conclusion of the 2025/2026 season.

Mafoso began his Likuena tenure by guiding the team past Seychelles to secure a spot in the Group Stage of the CAF TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations PAMOJA 2027.
