URGENT NATIONAL CALL TO ALL CREATIVE INSTITUTION HEADS IN LIBERIA 🇱🇷🇱🇷
Issued by the Liberia Designers & Fashion Council International (LDFCI)
The Liberia Designers & Fashion Council International is officially calling on all heads of creative institutions, organizations, unions, associations, and stakeholders operating within Liberia’s creative sector to urgently unite in the interest of strengthening our industries collectively.
For too long, our creative sector has operated in separation while many of our institutions continue to face similar challenges ranging from lack of visibility, limited opportunities, weak collaboration, and insufficient national representation on important creative and economic platforms.
The time has now come for us as leaders to move beyond individual interests and begin building a stronger national creative structure capable of creating sustainable opportunities for our people and future generations.
As part of this national effort, the Liberia Designers & Fashion Council International is currently developing an Online Live Broadcast Platform that will bring together heads of creative institutions under the National Collective Society of Liberia and other creative stakeholders for important national discussions concerning:
* The future of Liberia’s creative industries
* Challenges affecting our institutions
* National collaboration and unity
* Global partnerships and opportunities
* Institutional visibility and representation
* Youth empowerment and creative development
This platform will also create opportunities for engagement with international creative institutions and global industry leaders as we work toward positioning Liberia’s creative sector on the international stage.
We strongly believe that no institution can build a stronger creative Liberia alone. National progress within the creative sector will only become possible when institutions begin supporting each other through leadership, unity, respect, collaboration, and collective action.
Therefore, we are urgently encouraging all institution heads and stakeholders interested in becoming part of this initiative to officially reach out and submit their details for participation.
This is more than an invitation.
This is a national call for unity.
A call for leadership.
A call for collaboration.
And a call for the rebuilding and strengthening of Liberia’s creative future.
The time to unite is NOW.
