Private Bar CEO Charged and forwarded to the Monrovia City Court in Major Co***ne Trafficking Case.

MONROVIA – The Chief Executive Officer of the popular entertainment center Private Bar, George Harris, also known as Leroy Harris, has been forwarded to the Monrovia City Court by the Ministry of Justice's investigation team for prosecution over his alleged involvement in a major international co***ne trafficking case.
According to a police charge sheet dated August 4, 2026, Harris faces multiple charges, including importation and exportation of controlled drugs, illicit trafficking, criminal conspiracy, criminal facilitation, money laundering, aiding the commission of crime and economic sabotage.
Investigators allege that Harris was linked to an attempted shipment of six boxes allegedly containing co***ne disguised as "lappas and Maggi cubes" destined for London through Roberts International Airport (RIA) in June 2026. The shipment was intercepted after airport security officers detected suspicious images during X-ray screening, leading to the discovery of the alleged narcotics.
Investigators named Paul J. King and Mohammed O. Gbowrah as co-defendants already before the court, while several other individuals—including Michael U.S. Browne, also known as Rahim or Polo Bah, Usman Ali, Oscar Brown, Emmanuel Kpah and others—remain at large or are still under investigation.
Alleged International Drug Network
The investigation alleges that prior to June 5, 2026, Emmanuel Kpah, acting on behalf of George Harris and in collaboration with other members of the alleged trafficking network, arranged for six boxes containing co***ne to be delivered to the residence of co-defendant Paul J. King.
The boxes were allegedly disguised as ordinary cargo containing traditional Liberian lappas and Maggi seasoning cubes.
Investigators say the shipment was intended for export to London via Brussels Airlines, with Usman Ali listed as the consignee
