Liberia Choice Award Launched at Colony Hotel

Liberia Choice Award, the nation’s first and foremost award program recognizing excellence in various industries, launched today Friday, July 19, 2024, at the prestigious Colony Hotel in Monrovia. The event brought together leaders from across Liberia's business, entertainment, and community sectors to celebrate and honor the achievements of outstanding individuals and organizations.
The Liberia Choice Award aims to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and innovation of individuals and companies that have made significant contributions to their respective fields. By recognizing these achievements, the award program seeks to inspire others to strive for excellence and to set new standards of innovation and creativity in Liberia.
During the event, Madam Hesta Baker-Pearson, Marketing and Media Consultant said “We are thrilled to be launching the Liberia Choice Award at the Colony Hotel, it is a symbol of elegance and sophistication in Monrovia. She emphasized that the founder of the Liberia Choice Award, Mr. Delvin Oliver Cooper once had a dream and now that dream of promoting excellence is becoming a reality. She further said that this award program is a testament to the incredible talent and innovation that exists in Liberia, and we are excited to honor and celebrate the achievements of our country's brightest stars."
In addition to the launch event, the Liberia Choice Award will continue to recognize excellence throughout the year through a series of award ceremonies and events that will highlight the best and brightest in various industries. Nominations for the award program will be open to the public in August allowing individuals and organizations to submit their nominations for consideration by a panel of industry experts.
Categories for this year’s award are:

4. BUSINESS EXCELLENCE (Recognizing businesses that have demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, and impact in the Liberian business community.)
5. COMMUNITY IMPACT. (Celebrating organizations that have made a significant impact on local communities through their philanthropic efforts and community initiatives)
