We had the distinct honor of joining fellow emerging Liberian poets for an intimate reading session with the internationally acclaimed, U.S.-based Liberian poet Dr. Patricia Jabbeh Wesley.

Dr. Wesley is in Liberia to launch her book and to connect with the next generation of readers and writers. Sitting in her presence, listening to her craft, and sharing our own work was nothing short of inspiring.

Thank you, Dr. Wesley, for all you continued to do for young poets and for reminding us that Liberian stories deserve global stages. And yes, we love youuuuuuu ❤️

The Teens Poetry Foundation is proud to announce MICHAEL T.N TOGBOR as the winner of the Bai T. Moore Virtual Spoken Word Competition.

Michael emerged as winner through a competitive process that combined 40% Online Voting and 60% Judge’s Score.

As winner, Mr. Torgbor will receive a cash prize of 10,000 LRD.

The Teens Poetry Foundation congratulates Michael and thanks all participants for using their voices to inspire change.
