I had an amazing five days experiencing the beautiful sites and summer weather in Montana. Glacier National Park is an incredible place, everywhere you point you camera there is a photo to be made. The whole place is amazing!

All this time inside has me looking through photos from past trips, and a little bummed I wasn’t able to go back to Liberia as soon as I had hoped. I really miss traveling and had a bunch of trips planned for this year, but those are all looking to be postponed...
We’ll see what the rest of the year holds!
2020 has thrown all of us a huge curveball, hoping we get back to a new normal soon.

With the help of I got to play around with one of my favorite lenses from , the 300mm f2.8. It’s an amazing lens and I can’t wait to take it to Africa with me in 10 days.

Woke up at 4:30 this morning to capture sunrise from the top of Mount Mitchel. Unfortunately the Blue Ridge Parkway ( ) had to close the road due to snow. Luckily one overlook was accessible and making everything worth it.

This was my first time using the 1Dx iii for landscape photography. The photo is a panorama of 9 individual shots stitched together. I was able to shoot, download and edit all from the overlook thanks to !
I’m really impressed with the camera so far, the touch controls worked perfectly despite the temperature of 22°f.
Can’t wait to take this camera with me when I return to Liberia next month.

No amount of reading or imagery can really prepare you for the mental shock that is visiting the poorest country in the world. Despite the socio economic development being completely halted by a civil war that lasted 20 years Liberian remain optimistic and hopeful for the future. I’ve never felt so welcomed and at home I’m a place I knew so little.
I can’t wait to come back in March to continue documenting this amazing country’s development story.

If you have never been to Grand Cayman, I highly suggest taking some time to go and stay for a few days. It’s a wonderful island with some of the best diving on the entire planet.
