Monrovia (June 18, 2026) โ The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), in collaboration with the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC), announces a downward adjustment in the prices of gasoline (PMS) and fuel oil (AGO), effective June 18, 2026.
Following its regular review of international petroleum market trends and local pricing factors, the Ministry has approved a reduction of US$0.15 per gallon for gasoline (PMS) and US$0.30 per gallon for fuel oil (AGO).
The approved price ceilings are as follows:
1. Gasoline (PMS): Wholesale โ US$4.66; Retail Pump Price โ US$4.94 or L$905.00 per gallon.
2. Fuel Oil (AGO): Wholesale โ US$5.97; Retail Pump Price โ US$6.25 or L$1,145.00 per gallon.
The pricing adjustment is based on the Central Bank of Liberiaโs official exchange rate of L$183.1427 to US$1.00 as of June 15, 2026.
MOCI and LPRC will continue to monitor the petroleum market to ensure strict adherence to the approved prices, prevent unfair trade practices, and maintain a stable supply of petroleum products nationwide.
