Have you ever played with the world's smallest mask?

The Red Nose is known as the world's smallest mask—and one of the most powerful. It invites us to be playful, vulnerable, curious, and fully present.

This summer, participants in our Professional Intensive in Clowning & Physical Theatre had the opportunity to explore the fundamentals of clowning through games, improvisation, and embodied practice, discovering how the red nose can transform the way we perform, connect, and create.

To every artist who joined us from across Sri Lanka and around the world—Thank you. ❤️

Actors, directors, filmmakers, designers, teachers, dancers, and theatre-makers from many different disciplines came together with one shared purpose: to play, learn, and create.

Thank you for trusting us, for saying yes to this adventure, and for bringing your curiosity, generosity, and courage into the room.

Most importantly, we made new friends and thank you for playing with us.

The laughter, the discoveries, the friendships, and the beautiful moments we shared will stay with us long after the training has ended.

This summer, participants in our Professional Intensive in Clowning & Physical Theatre explored the foundations of Commedia dell'Arte and mask performance with Ania Upstill and Veenadari Lakshika.

Through this immersive training, students discover the origins of physical comedy, archetypal characters, mask work, and the embodied techniques that continue to shape contemporary clowning and physical theatre.

Our next intake starts this September.

What an incredible journey it has been.

Over seven inspiring days, we explored play, vulnerability, movement, laughter, connection, and the transformative power of clowning. Together, we learned, created, challenged ourselves, and finally brought it all to life on stage.

To everyone who participated in the Professional Intensive in Clowning & Physical Theatre 2026 and joined us for our final performance - thank you for your trust, courage, energy, and generosity. Every game, every discovery, every laugh, and every moment shared made this experience truly unforgettable.

This production would not have been possible without the dedication and support of so many wonderful people.
