වසන්තය එනවා සත්තකයි !
පළමු පශ්චාත් උපාධියෙන් පසුව දිනෙක අල්තිනායි රජයේ ගොවිපල ට යන කරත්තයකින් අයිලයට පැමිණ
පොප්ල ගස් දෙක තියෙන කඳුවැටිය දෙසට ගමන් කර එදෙස බලා" වසන්තය එනවා සත්තකයි "! යැයි සිතමින් හතරවන අංකය ඇරඹෙයි.
පසුව බිහිසුණු හඩක් ඇසෙයි. යුද්ධය ඇරඹෙයි .අල්තීනායි දුයිෂෙන් සොයයි.යුධ විලාපය ඇසෙයි .
දුයිෂෙන් සොයමින් අල්තිනායි වේදිකාවෙන් ඉවත ට හැරෙනවා සමගම ඇය
මහාචාර්ය සුලයිමානවා වී වේදිකාවේ මතු වෙයි.
1946 පුවරු ගත් ළමුන් හතර දෙනෙකු පැත්තකින් මතු වී අනෙක් පැත්තට ඇදී යයි.
විද්යා පරීක්ෂණ කටයුත්තක්
සඳහා සයිබීරියාව හරහා යන ඇගේ පලමු ගමන වෙනුවෙන් එම දුම්රියට මහාචාර්ය තුමිය ගොඩවෙයි.
ලී කකුලක් සහිත යුධ පෙරමුණේ සේවය කල අසල් වැසි මගියා ගේ විහිළු සහ උපහාසාත්මක රස කතා වලට සියල්ලෝම සිනාසෙයි.
දුම්රිය වේගයෙන් ඇදෙයි. විසි වී ගොස් නැවත ජනේලය ලගට එන්න මහාචාර්ය තුමිය
එකවරම දුම්රිය සංඥා කොඩියක් අතැතිව මඩුව තුල ඉන්නා දුයිෂෙන් ව දකියි.
ඇය වෙර යොදා දුම්රිය ඇණය කරකවා දුම්රිය හදිසියේ නවතයි. ලමයින් ,කාන්තාවෝ කෑ ගසයි .
සුලයිමානවා දුම්රියෙන් පැන එක හුස්මට දුව ගොස්
ඔහුගේ ගෙල බදා ගෙන කෑ ගසන නමුදු. ඇය රැවටී ඇති බව ඔහු කියයි.
දුම්රිය පෙට්ටිය අසලදී ප්රධානියා දඩ ගසන බව කියමින් ගුගුලයි.
කතාකාර මගියා ලියවිල්ල උදුරා ගෙන කෑ ගසා ඇය වෙනුවෙන් අත්සන් කරන්නට පොරොන්දු වෙයි.
*යුතුකමේ ගීතය* -ආරියාව
පමා වු දුම්රිය වේගයෙන් දුවයි...කතාකාර මගියා ගේ දුක මුසු ගිතාර වාදනය ඇසෙයි.ඒ දුක් මුසු රාවය සමග යුද්ධයේ අහිමි වීම් ,බියජනක අවතාර ඈ සිත වෙලා ගනී.
එසේ ගෙවි ගිය අතීතය සිහි කරමින් ඇය යුතුකමේ ගීතය ගයන්නීය.
දැන් ඇය තම සම්පූර්ණ කතාව කියා අවසන්ය.
*සිතුවමේ ගීතය- සමාප්ති ගායනය*
දැන් මොස්කව් වෙලාව රෑ දෙකය.සිත්තරා නවාතැන් ගෙන සිටින හෝටලයේ සඳළුතලයේ හිද නිවී යන පහන් දෙස බලමින් ඔහු සෙමෙන් මුමුණමින්
ඇඳ අවසන් කළ යුතු විවිධ සිතුවම් ගැන
ඔහු ඔබට එකින් එක පවසයි.
විටෙක ජීවිතය දුක් බර වුවද විටෙක කඳු
පෙරළා දමන්නට තරම් සවි බලයක් දැනෙන බව පවසන එවන් වු මොහොතක බලා ,ඉගෙන, තෝරාගැනුම තම ඉරණම වන බව කිහිප විටක්ම ඔහු තරයේ ම පවසන අතර අවසාන මොහොතේ
සියළු පාත්ර වර්ගයාට වේදිකාවේ පැමිණෙන්නට ඇරයුම් කරයි.සෙමින් ඉදිරියට සමුහයක් සේ පැමිණෙන සියල්ලෝම සිත්තරා සමග එක්ව
බලා, ඉගෙන තෝරාපන්නේ !
ඉරණම එයයි!
ලෙස ගයමින් ඔපෙරාවේ
සමාප්තියට එළඹෙයි !

Act 4
Spring comes for sure!
Althenai comes to isle in a cart going to the government farm. The young man riding the cart is puzzled seeing the tears in her eyes. She gets off the cart and starts moving towards the hill where the poplar trees are there.
A ferocious sound is heard. War begins.
Althenai looks for Duishen. Mourning of the war is heard.
Althenai turns aside on stage looking for Duishen and reemerges as Professor Suleymanov.
She gets into the train for her first journey across Siberia which she’s going to take for research in 1946.
Every passenger laughs at the funny and sarcastic stories told by the neighbouring passenger with a wooden leg who had served in the war front.
The train runs fast. Althenai has jerks and moves back to the window. At once, she notices Duishen in the shed carrying a signaling flag.
She pulls the chain hard. The train comes to a stop suddenly. Goods on the racks fall, glasses break. Children and women begin to scream. Suleymanov jumps out of the train and runs fast. He runs forth. She hangs onto his neck and shouts, but he says that Suleymanov has mistaken. The talkative passenger too goes crying with Suleymanov with fallen crest. Everyone follows them silently.
The train guard threatens to fine them at the train compartment. He asks her sign the charge sheet.
The talkative passenger snatches it and shouts.
Song of Obligation
The delayed train runs fast. The talkative passenger’s melancholy guitar music is heard. Her mind is full of frightening shadows of losses of the war with the sad tune of the guitar. She sings the song of obligation thinking about the past so spent. Now she has finished relating her story.
Song of the Painting –Finale (Curtain singing)
It’s 2 O’ clock in the dawn at Moscow. The painter looking at the going out lights from the balcony of his hotel room murmurs slowly.
He wants to tell you about the still incomplete paintings and speaks about them one by one.
Life is said to be once sad but once so strong that it can turn a mountain upside down. At such a moment he would look, learn and choose.
At the end the whole cast comes to the front of the stage and sing in chorus,
look, learn and choose!
Destiny is that!
