This was the last of the birthday cakes I baked for my little boy… and definitely the one that took the most out of me.

A whole little construction world, with every tiny piece made by hand. The dump truck, excavator, bulldozer, crane… right down to the cones, signs, and all the messy little details in between.

Close to 12 hours later… and somehow it all felt worth it the moment he saw it!

This little bulldozer cake was built with so much love for a very special customer, for my own little boy, who had one very clear request!

Just like the Hansel & Gretel house, every little chocolate piece slowly disappeared… first the scoop, then the tracks, and finally the windows.

The best moment? Catching him up on the table, sneakily digging into the buttercream and proudly declaring, “I’m a lucky boy!”

Some cakes are special because of how they look.
Some are special because of the memories they create.
