The Executive Committee and Members of the Western Musicians’ Association (WMA) deeply mourn the passing of our beloved veteran vocalist, pioneer, and icon.

For decades, Mariazelle graced our stages, inspired generations of musicians, and left an indelible mark on the Sri Lankan music industry. Her voice, her vibrant energy, and her spirit will never be forgotten.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, and her countless fans around the world.

Rest in Eternal Peace, Mariazelle.
Your melodies will live in our hearts forever.

The Western Musicians Association is proud to work alongside Mr Russell Fernando and the entire Jazzebel team. Your support, generosity, and belief in fostering live music and musical education are truly appreciated.

A special thank you to your staff, who were nothing but accommodating, supportive, and welcoming throughout the event. Your professionalism and kindness helped make the day a memorable success for everyone involved.
