TYRE International Festival The Tyre International festival takes place in the authentic Phoenician city of Tyre the mythical birthplace of Europa. The Festival launched in 1996.

The Festival launched in 1996, takes pride in selecting the best of what the local and international art and musical scene has to offer. The Tyre Hippodrome where the festival takes place can accommodate 2000 seated attendees for each performance in a fabulous surrounding and an authentic site. The festival strives also to play a positive role in the local communities and to take part in the socia

l and culture up heaving of the city, by casting the light on rural activities and forgotten crafts in addition to participating actively in supporting the hospitality aspect of this ancient and UNESCO classified heritage city.
