In many ways, the audemars piguet x swatch Royal Pop is not the collaboration many expected or guessed right. Instead of shrinking the Royal Oak into an affordable wristwatch, the collab result is a transformable, pocket-style object that plays with how time can be worn, displayed, or even staged.
Use it your way. Wear it around your neck, keep it in your bag or pocket, or put it on your desk. Wrist optional (for now).
It's the 1990s modular spirit, modernised with AF codes, Octagonal bezel, petite tapisserie, eight bold colourways. Bioceramic build, lightweight, playful, now with sapphire front and back. Two layouts, Lépine or Savonnette with small seconds.
Sistem51 for movement in its first hand-wound version with 90h power reserve and Nivachron. Laser-requlated, with no-index architecture.
