First of all, we would like to sincerely thank all creators who continue to share their valuable works with us.
As AI technology continues to advance, it is being widely adopted across the content industry. We recognize its positive contributions in improving workflow efficiency and providing new creative possibilities.
However, the copyright and legal ownership of AI-generated works have not yet been fully established, either domestically or internationally. Discussions regarding authorship, ownership, and the scope of rights surrounding AI-generated content are still ongoing.
With this in mind, Number K Company is committed to protecting and respecting the originality, creativity, and rights of creators. Therefore, we would like to announce the following policy, which applies equally to all creators, including both new demo submissions and our existing songwriting partners.
Core creative elements of a work—including melodies, lyrics, arrangements, performances, track production, sound sources, and other essential creative components—must be the original work of the creator. We believe that content generated by AI cannot be regarded as a creator's own original work. In addition, given the current uncertainties surrounding copyright and intellectual property rights, we do not accept or review works that utilize AI-generated creative content.
The only exception is the use of AI-generated guide vocals (demo vocals) for demo production purposes. This exception is intended solely to assist with the demo-making process. All core creative aspects of the work must still be created by the creator.
