시도

동서양의 관악기와 타악기로 이루어진 ‘시도’는 전통연희와 브라스밴드의 환상적인 조합으로, 화려하고 웅장한 사운드가 특징이며 관객들과 함께 소통하는 공연을 만들어 나가는 팀입니다. 이러한 독창성으로 설립 이후 국내외의 여러 전문가들로 부터 주목을 받고 있습니다.

"Xiido"

"Xiido" composed of both Eastern and Western wind and percussion instruments, is a group renowned for its remarkable fusion of traditional performance and brass band music. Distinguished by its vibrant and majestic sound, Xiido creates performances that engage and interact with the audience. Since its establishment, the ensemble has attracted attention from numerous experts both domestically and internationally due to its originality.

아흐메드 모니카 (캐나다)

아프로-수피에서 영감을 받은 아흐메드 모네카는 아프리칸 그루브와 아랍 멜로디를 기반으로 펑크, 소울, 재즈 등 다채로운 음악 세계를 선보입니다. 그는 토론토에서의 음악 활동을 통해 Moneka Arabic Jazz을 설립하였고, 솔로 활동 뿐만 아니라 여러 팀에서의 연주를 이어가고 있습니다

Ahmed Moneka (Canada)

Inspired by Afro-Sufi traditions, Ahmed Moneka showcases a diverse musical world based on African grooves and Arab melodies, blending genres such as funk, soul, and jazz. Through his music activities in Toronto, he founded Moneka Arabic Jazz and continues to perform both as a solo artist and with various ensembles.

도시

도시는 전통 악기와 프로그레시브 록을 결합한 에너제틱한 사운드를 선보입니다. 2018년에 결성된 이 팀은 대금, 피리, 거문고와 같은 전통 악기에 강렬한 기타와 드럼을 더해 독창적인 음악을 완성했습니다. 2022년에는 한국의 유명 TV 음악 채널에 출연해 큰 인정을 받으며, 국내외에서 활발하게 연주 활동을 하고 있습니다.

Dosi

Dosi presents an energetic sound by merging traditional instruments with progressive rock. Formed in 2018, the group combines traditional Korean instruments like the daegeum, piri, and geomungo with intense guitar and drums to create innovative music. In 2022, they received significant acclaim through an appearance on a well-known Korean TV music channel and continue to perform actively both domestically and internationally.

첸충칭 (대만)

첸충칭은 대만의 대표적인 음악가로, 리우친, 루안, 산쉬안과 같은 전통 현악기를 현대적인 음악 스타일과 결합하여 혁신적인 공연을 선보입니다. 그녀는 Sizhukong Jazz Band와 Spectro 7 Band에서 활동하며, 국립대만예술대학교에서 학생들을 가르치고 있습니다. 그녀의 독창적인 접근 방식은 국제적으로 인정받으며 전통 음악에 새로운 변화를 가져오고 있습니다.

Chung-Ching Chen (Taiwan)

Chung-Ching Chen is a leading Taiwanese musician who blends traditional string instruments such as the liuqin, ruan, and sanxian with contemporary music styles to create innovative performances. Active with the Sizhukong Jazz Band and Spectro 7 Band, she also teaches at the National Taiwan University of Arts. Her distinctive approach is internationally acclaimed and brings fresh perspectives to traditional music.
