2. New MIRAGE Patterns

- [MIRAGE] difficulty added to existing tracks.

3. System Improvements

Achievements Replaced
- Due to system changes in v3.0, some unreachable missions were replaced with alternatives.
(Achievements are linked with the achievement system of Google Play Games or Game Center.)

Track Selection Screen Improvements
- Improved the touch input method for the Track Selection.
- Level sorting is now divided into Cross- and Single-Difficulty.
- The BPM of the selected song is now displayed to the left of the note distribution graph.

Gameplay Improvements
- Fixed an issue where the music progress bar did not function properly.
- A certain area outside of Lane 1 and Lane 5 is now also included in the note touch input range.
- Fixed an issue where some default values in the Gameplay Settings were not properly applied.

Unlock Condition Improvements
- The unlock conditions for ABYSS, MIRAGE, and PARALLEL difficulties have been expanded.
Before: Achieve an A Rank on an ADVANCED difficulty
After: Achieve an A Rank on an ADVANCED or higher difficulty
(However, due to the change in the scoring system, records from before v3.0 will not count toward this condition.)
- When a difficulty is unlocked by achieving an A Rank, a pop-up notification will be displayed on the result screen.

Pattern Issue Fixes
- Fixed an issue where lane opacity remained at 0 after certain sections.

(Focuses on ABYSS-style patterns with a fresh technical approach.)

3. System Renewal & Improvements
- Visual Overhaul: Complete renewal of Game Design, UI, and Illustrations.
- Gameplay Updates:
　 - New "Trace Note" (Slide type) added.
　 - Expanded Accuracies: X-PERFECT, PERFECT, GREAT, GOOD, MISS.
　 - Scoring Split: "SCORE" (1M system) & "PRECISION" (Replaces HARD MODE).
　 - Improved Slide Note logic
　 - New "GAUGE" system (Optional).
　 - New Rating system: "P-Ev."
- Content Flow: Reorganized music categories; Added unlock conditions for ABYSS, MIRAGE, and PARALLEL.

Part 4: New Difficulty - MIRAGE

In this part, we finally reveal the name of the new difficulty level that has been shrouded in mystery!

"Sometimes, it is not the invisible abyss, but a deceptive mirage that makes observation difficult."

✅ MIRAGE
* Patterns are designed with the same philosophy as the ABYSS difficulty, targeting levels 10–15.
* The level of a MIRAGE pattern may be higher or lower than the ABYSS pattern of the same track.
* This difficulty is available only for selected tracks and may be added to existing tracks through future updates.

We hope that challenging yourselves with the MIRAGE difficulty will provide a fresh perspective and a new way to enjoy the content you’ve loved so far.

⚠️ Notice Regarding the Discontinuation of Certain Content

Hello, this is the COXETA Development Team.

Ahead of the v3.0 update, we would like to inform you of several important changes.
We sincerely ask for your understanding.

1. Café Theta

Service End Date: After the v3.0 update
- Any unused Theta Coins will be fully converted into Discs upon updating to v3.0.

Through previous updates, we have announced the gradual phase-out of Café Theta by scaling down its operations.
Starting from v3.0, Café Theta will no longer be available.

2. Watch & Play Mode

Service End Date: After February 28, 14:59 (GMT), 22:59 (GMT+8)
- The list of music for Watch & Play Mode will no longer be updated.

3. Story

Service End Date: After the v3.0 update
- The Story and related menus will no longer be supported.
- Players will receive Nameplates and Titles as compensation based on the amount of Story Points.

We understand that this news may be disappointing to many Observers.
The story set in the E.S.T. has not been updated for approximately three years.
Due to current team circumstances, it has become difficult to continue the existing storyline.
Additionally, we determined that the story content does not aligns well with the current game system.
Therefore, we have decided to discontinue support for the existing Story starting from v3.0.

We deeply apologize to those who have been looking forward to future story updates and kindly ask for your understanding.
Please note that the worldbuilding centered around the E.S.T. will continue to exist within the game, and we would greatly appreciate your support for upcoming updates.

4. Discontinuation of Sale for Certain Music

Affected Track: Back In The Days
Sale End Date: After the v3.0 update
- The track will be removed from the Music Pack “Boosting UP vol.1.”
- “Boosting UP vol.1” will consist of four tracks excluding the affected track, and its price will be adjusted accordingly.
- The affected track will no longer appear in the track list for players who have not previously purchased it, and it will no longer be available for purchase or play.

We will continue striving to present an improved experience to all Observers.
