𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲

𝐈𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝—𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫.

the sky hung low, the clouds gray
with the world blurring into mute shades.
the air smelled faintly of petrichor,
the footsteps echoing the same hollow sound.

then we sat beside eachother one morning,
the sunlight streaming on your face—
but your voice was warmer than the sun,
light spilling into the corners of my world.

they didnt scatter all at once, they slowly mixed in.
gold hues slipping from the clouds,
the breeze softly dancing through the trees,
the footsteps no longer hollow.

even when you're gone,
i still feel your presence with me.
shadows softened where my fingers touched,
the edges of my monochrome blurring with your soft light.

the night sky stretches wide,
the stars glittering dimly.
as if the universe chose
to rest its brightest constellations,
in your gaze.

but without your constellations,
they feel too far, too cold.
not until i find them again,
shimmering in the reflection of your eyes.

i chase the brief trails,
those whispers of sparks in the sky,
yet every wish,
circles back to you.

even when the moon pulls the sun,
its darkness aligning with the light,
i find its light again,
the moment you return.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁'𝘀 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗼

Across the room, your quiet presence,
Your smile, a sight that captured my heart.
Few words spoken, yet eyes that meet,
a secret language, bittersweet.
unsure if this feeling is meant to be,
or just a fantasy.

Shared glances and quick smiles,
moments i look forward to everyday.
With friends, her voice and laughter rings clear,
but my heartbeat from admiring you rings stronger.
A silent wish, a gentle plea,
to know your heart, you and me.

𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂

three simple words
aren't enough to express,
the feelings and emotions,
i experience from you.

just like my chilly and shivering hands,
engulf the warmth of the coffee mug,
similar to how your warmth radiates,
from your soft embrace.

just like how a listener,
waits for the chorus of a song.
just like how a reader,
doesnt turn the page,
and rereads the lines.

you're the sun that shines,
after the murky clouds,
shoots their lightning.
you're the rainbow that appears,
after the foggy clouds,
pour down their tears.

i love you.
and that sentence,
cant even summarize,
to all the unspoken thoughts,
i want to tell you.

𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀

midnight snacks isn't just about hunger.
its not how we open the fridge slowly,
not how we open the wrappers quietly—

it's a taste that lingers in your mouth,
in a way that'll leave you craving for more.

maybe that's why you keep reaching out,
for the same piece of snack every night,
like how you're always seeking for comfort.

but now, you can stop seeking,
'cause you've finally found the hider—
which is food.

sometimes, comfort doesn't have to be a person.
it can be a thing, a place, or something small.

eating food at midnight hits different,
doesnt it?
it feels like a warm hug,
a soft whisper about sweet nothings.

and that alone,
is enough.
no chaos,
no noise,
just you,
and a biscuit.

sometimes being full,
doesn't come from food.
it's the dim light from the fridge,
with you crouched down in it,
blissfully eating.

a newfound peace,
you never knew you needed,
like a hidden gem.
maybe that last bite,
wasn't about the biscuit at all.

𝗝𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

jeongin's jars glimmered,
like stars in a midnight sky,
aligned neatly on shelves.
some of the jars
cradled delicate memories,
while the others
cradled emotions.

in this chaotic, harsh world,
even feeling or remembering
can be so loud its suffocating.
so he kept them in containers,
to muffle the noise.

when jeongin entered to dust his jars,
the air held weight—
as if carrying another presence.
this strange unfamiliarity hung above,
like something in the room had shifted.

then there lay a jar—
or specifically, shattered glass—
on the floor.
perhaps it slipped on its own—
but he would've heard.
he always checks the jars before leaving.
his breath got caught in his throat,
his chest growing tighter.
what was once his childhood
now seeped into the cracks of the floor.

his frenzied gaze darted around the room,
and suddenly, everything looked out of place—
like how the lids weren’t fully closed,
or how the labels were nearly peeled off.

the jar that held his joy
was fogged from within,
as if dried tears were inside.
the shards of his past reflected,
cutting through him in sharp, brutal ways.

those memories—or feelings—didn’t scream when shattered.
but he did, internally.
those memories—or feelings—didn’t cry,
but he did.
loudly,
silently,
all at once.

he thought he was keeping them for peace—
but maybe,
he wanted to ignore them.
maybe they didn’t need to be placed on shelves.
maybe they didn’t need to be in jars.
they needed to be held.

he scanned the room one last time,
and for the first time,
he came across his fears.
the texture of his brother's hoodie,
the obnoxious jokes of his friends—
flooded back to him.

he started to gather every jar,
including the broken ones.
he threw away all the shards,
opened every closed lid,
because they didn’t matter anymore—
they were inside him to begin with.

he cleaned every inch of the room.
and what was filled with jars before
was now empty.
the air felt lighter,
his chest no longer tight.
and he had never felt more alive.

at last, jeongin left the room,
leaving the door open.

𝗜𝗩 - 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀

the silence revisited,
which carried a familiar feeling,
but heavier.

i remember the silence,
how it used to be peaceful.
now, it feels empty.

no fight,
no missed calls,
no unread messages,
like you just slowly vanished.

was i the only one,
feeling the connection,
or was the thread connecting us—
was just one i sewed myself?

maybe, we were a story,
that was kept in the drafts,
or a gentle lesson.
you didn't stay,
but you still changed something in me.
i wish i knew if you ever felt it too.

the silence belongs to me again—
this time, a little bruised.
you may have left without breaking me,
but you bent me.
now, it hums—
a reminder of what we once were.

𝗜𝗜𝗜 - 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

i settled in silence,
like my own little room—
which became my comfort place.

then you arrived,
and didnt try to shatter the silence,
just sat beside me,
patiently.

no music,
no conversation,
just two individuals,
breathing in rhythm.

is this love?
even though it doesn't shout?
maybe love is quiet—
like how you came in,
barefoot and quiet.

𝗜𝗜 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴

if silence still had a sound,
it would no longer shiver.
just a purr.
either a soft, soothing sound,
or a cat's meow.

i remember the silence,
not like a penalty,
but a reward.
and that alone, is peace.
a room i've learned to sit inside.

if silence once sounded like you,
it now sounds like me.
steady,
calm,
and whole.

i remember the silence,
on a cozy morning,
just me sitting with my cup of coffee,
without missing you—
and how it felt so right.

𝗜 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗲

if silence had a sound,
it would whisper like wind.
you would faintly hear it,
but it'd leave you shivering.

i remember the silence,
when you'd suddenly leave me to be with your friends,
leaving me there standing,
like an unfinished song left buried in the files.

i remember the silence after you left,
the way your last words hung in the air,
leaving me in despair.

if silence really did have a sound,
maybe it'd be like you.

i remember the silence that one night,
the way the stars and the moon glowed faintly,
as if they didn't wanna overwhelm me.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
- 𝒶 𝓈𝑒𝓇𝒾𝑒𝓈

it started with silence,
and ended with silence.
everything in between?
thats where i learned how to feel.

silence can ache.
it can heal,
it can hold love,
and carry loss.
