The Mentor Publication retained the Most Outstanding Campus Journalist Award for the second consecutive year during The Prism’s 8th Journlead Awarding Ceremony held at UA Paghiusa Hall today, November 9.

Freem Dominique Yandog, News Editor of The Mentor Publication, clinched The Prism’s 8th Journlead Most Outstanding Campus Journalist Award, retaining the publication’s honor--first earned during the 7th Journlead, where one of its participants also won the same prestigious recognition.

“Actually, I was not expecting to receive the Most Outstanding Campus Journalist Award because I was not that confident with my works. But I am very thankful that somehow, I was able to win in every individual contest I joined,” said Yandog during an interview.

Furthermore, The Mentor Publication also successfully defended its previous place as one of the Best Performing Publications during the said event.
