The Gusii Urban Festival fraternity is deeply saddened by the heartbreaking news of the passing of celebrated Gusii lyrical musician Van Quiz.
Van Quiz was a remarkable talent whose powerful lyrics and unique voice greatly enriched the Gusii music industry and inspired many young artists. His artistry and contribution to our cultural sound will forever remain part of our heritage.
As a festival community that celebrates and uplifts Gusii talent, we mourn the loss of one of our own. We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, fellow artists, and all fans whose lives he touched through his music.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
