EVENSONG AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY

When we began this journey, our prayer was simple: "Enda nasi" — "Lord, if Your presence does not go with us, do not send us from here."

Today, with grateful hearts, we testify that His presence has indeed gone before us. We have seen His favour.

What a humbling privilege to lead Evensong at Westminster Abbey as the first African choir to do so, in a service that was fully attended.

To everyone who joined us, and the many Kenyans who came to worship with us, thank you for your love and support.

We serve in His name.

This Sunday join us for worship where we will be joined by All Saints Cathedral Choir from Nairobi.

The 7am Choir has a national reputation in Kenya for the musical excellence, commitment and passion that is a consistent hallmark of the 7am Sunday service at All Saints Cathedral. They have sung for national high-profile events and lead the faithful throughout the church year in nationally-broadcast and live-streamed performances.

This is their first ever choir tour, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many of the choristers, and they look forward to uniting with Christian friends in the UK to praise God through music and develop friendship, understanding and connections.

They will be singing at our 10.30am Eucharist as well as our 4pm Choral Evensong.
