Today I watched with utter bewilderment as events unfolded at Migwena Cultural Ground. The script was pre-written. The ODM moles and deserters had already mounted a stage not to honour Baba, but to humiliate ODM and the Head of State.
It is a good thing President Ruto and the ODM crème de la crème gave that charade a wide berth.
I am beginning to believe Ruto's 2022 plea was prophetic we must end the reign of dynastic families in Kenya. He was right, just ahead of his time. I am glad the Mlima people scattered the Kenyatta dynasty in 2022; for once, they did something worthy of applause. And sadly, the Odinga dynasty has died a natural death.
What chokes is the stinking entitlement of the Oginga family. What Ruth Odinga and Winnie Odinga said was totally out of order. We, the Luo Nation, are not slaves of the Ogingas. Raila was the last. Our loyalty is not transferable. We need new blood in Luo Nyanza leadership.
Back to what transpired at Migwena:
Min Piny organized the ground to smoothen the entry of Linda-TEP-TEP into Luo Nyanza. The crowd was mobilized against ODM and Ruto. But the ground rebelled. The organic, unfiltered, un-bought Jeshi ya Baba outnumbered and out-shouted the artificial crowd hired by Orengo and Linda-TEP-TEP.
Min Piny is a hypocrite. That was a stab in the back of President Ruto, and the ground rejected it outright.
Orengo cried because the TUTAM wave overwhelmed them. That same cry is what he will be taking to Martha Koome at the Supreme Court next year at a time like this, when Ruto will already have been confirmed for TUTAM.
It is TUTAM, whether they like it or not kithni or ndekni!
