we officially kicked off the Kenya Music Festival 2026 Trainers and Adjudicators Workshop at Nakuru High School with a facilitators’ coordination meeting that set the foundation for the week ahead.

The session focused on alignment, shared expectations, and collective preparedness—laying the groundwork for meaningful engagement, high professional standards, and a successful KMF 2026.

As the workshop continues, we remain committed to strengthening adjudication, training, and artistic excellence across the festival ecosystem.

*A CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSED MUSIC AND ELOCUTION SETPIECES FOR KENYA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026*

The Kenya Music Festival National Executive Committee invites submissions for Music and Elocution pieces to be considered for use as set pieces during the 98th KMF in 2026, as guided below:

1. The pieces should be in PDF format
2. The submitted copy should be clear and legible, with clear details of the composer/author
3. You are required to indicate the Class/Level for which the piece is proposed. Please refer to the 2025 Guidelines for respective class codes.
4. Submit your own works (unless in the case where the composer is deceased).
Please note that submission of own works is voluntary and that KMF provides NO form of compensation for this.

5. You may submit other published resources (pieces/verses) to be considered for set pieces/verses.

You may re-submit any pieces that you did in the previous years but were not selected for use.
