This is how Pharaoh made slaves of thee.
When Joseph was long gone, and reigned a Pharaoh who knew him not, The children of Israel became a threat unto the Egyptians, for they greatly increased in number.
The Pharaoh, took counsel from his advisors, and thus came a decree that all willing inhabitants of Egypt should turn up for waged labour.
Many showed up to make bricks, both Egyptians and Israelites alike, and in the first year, the workers recieved their due wages.
In the second year, most of the Egyptians withdrew from the Labour and the remaining ones were set up as officials lording over the children of Israel.
In the third year, the wages were withdrawn and the Isrealites were subjucted to hard labour without pay.
Still the God of their forefathers was merciful unto them, till they multiplied greatly still.
Pharaoh was much vexed by this, and upon seeking advice, it was decreed that their labour should be twofold.They had to gather straw on their own and still produce bricks same amount as before.
Until it came to the point of slaughtering the male children in the time of the birth of Moses.
He that hath an ear, let them hear what the spirit say unto the children of Jah.
