Men
1. Start selling something to supplement your salary. Identify something and sell it.
You can sign an agreement with boutiques.
Walk from door to door selling it e.g Men socks, ties, belts. Walk from gate to gate, offer to clean cars, offices, homes or carpets.
2. Join a gym or a sporting environmental e.g football, volleyball or basketball. You will meet men who will expose you to opportunities. As your physical and mental health grows, your network grows too.
3. Avoid betting, gambling, and online scams. You will lose your money. Don't ma******te or watch p**n, they will lower your esteem and deflate your momentum.
4. On your off days or weekends, join:
- a construction site
- a mechanic garage
- a furniture workshop
Request them that you would like to learn what they do. Be humble and learn. Learn skills.
5. Avoid borrowing credit. Don't own a phone on credit. Switch off Background data and opt out of subscriptions. Live near work. Walk to work if you are not a morning person. Walk home. The money you will save from walking will help you to buy a bicycle.
6. Don't beg for lifts.
7. Cook food in the house. If you must eat, cook in the house and carry packed food. Avoid buying expensive foods, they are useless when you can't afford.
Have discipline on this budget:
- Food
- Transport
- Electricity and water
- Grooming
Save 30%+ of your salary. Invest it, actively. Investings are friendlier with your money. In 6 months time, you qualify for cheap credit to invest or finance an Income Generating
Activity. NB: You don't need a guarantor. Your savings will guarantee you. Live in a house worth -30% of your salary. Don't live with a relative or a parent. Go and rent. Pay rent. The pain of paying rent will teach you about independence, discipline and hard work.
