we had a productive engagement with Adolescents and Young People from Kambe/Ribe ward, discussing how we can make an end to the raising cases of Teenage and Early Pregnancies together as a community,
Under the program funded by Marie Stopes Kenya we were able to impact the community of Kambe Ribe with understanding and knowledge on using of contraceptives.

We had a Peer Guide and Counselling session with Young Adolescents boys and Girls from Compassion International, KE 641 Child Development Centre Mazeras.
The session intended to equip Adolescents with information on growth and Development and what they facing during their transition to youthful and how to manage good sanitation especially for girls during menstruations, Adolescents need to be empowered at early age to help them grow healthier and free from Drugs and Substance Abuse, Mental problems and Teenage Pregnacies, This also increase their self esteem and shape them to good decision makers and also help them to appreciate their abilities and talents

Mila na Tamaduni inacheza sehemu kubwa na muhimu katika maisha ya watu wote, kuifuata Tamaduni inapaswa kufahamika wazi kwamba sio kwenda kinyume na dini au maswala yakiimani.
Vijana tunapaswa kusimama ili kuhabarishana nakutetea Mila na Tamaduni zetu, hii pia nikwa sababu kubwa kwamba tuzitunze historia kubwa na fahamika katika jamii zetu.
Pia vievile zipo Mila na Tamaduni potofu ambazo zinaathiri maisha ya sasa katika jamii tulizopo, hizi zinapaswa kuzimwa na jamii kupewa uelewa mzuri juu ya kuishi na Tamaduni zao.

With support from Marie Stopes Kenya we were able to conduct a meaningful engagement with AYPs on Contraceptives sensitisation and HIV/AIDs awareness, This was to pass SRHR coverage with an objective of eliminating new HIV infections around Rabai Sub-county and preventing unplanned pregnancies
