RANDOM QUESTION=>
If the HIV virus can only survive around 30 seconds when exposed to air, why do we say we can catch it from a needle that has been on the ground for hours?

ANSWER=>
There’s an idea that because HIV is fragile and can’t tolerate exposure to oxygen, that means the instant blood leaves the body it’s totally safe.

Some HIV conspiracy nutters even think this is “proof” that HIV could not have come from people slaughtering monkeys for meat, because if you’re butchering an infected animal, its blood touches the air, and then if you cut yourself and you are exposed to the animal’s blood, well, the blood touched air so it can’t infect you.

So let’s think about this.

The virus has a fragile capsid—the outer shell—that’s destroyed on contact with air. A naked virus on its own that is exposed to air is inactivated.

Ah, but blood is a liquid.

A naked virus inside a drop of liquid is not exposed to air until the liquid evaporates!

And are viruses usually naked?

Viruses are tiny strands of RNA or DNA wrapped in a case made of protein molecules. They reproduce by entering a cell and taking over the cell, hijacking it to manufacture more viruses.

A virus inside a cell is not exposed to air until the cell dries out and ruptures.

A virus inside a cell inside a drop of liquid is pretty well protected from air.

Now, once the liquid dries out, the cell shrivels and then ruptures and it’s adios, muchachos. But as long as the blood is still wet, it’s potentially infectious.

A needle that has been on the ground for hours has dried out. Whatever blood was on or in it, it’s long past the point of being infectious. To my knowledge, there has never once been a case of HIV infection from a dirty needle sitting out for hours.

However, if the blood is still wet? Yes, it can still infect you. Air is not Magic HIV Death Cooties. The umpire doesn’t call “safe!” the instant blood leaves the body, direct fluid contact with wet, HIV-positive blood can infect you.

According to the Turkana of Lodwar township, Kenya, HIV-1/AIDS and TB are largely contagious and are attributed to impersonal and natural causes. In addition, in line with biomedical knowledge, the Turkana's local knowledge emphasises a conceptual link between TB and HIV-1/AIDS. The study also demonstrates that factors of the ecosystem such as kaada, poverty, widow inheritance, migration and other socio-cultural practices play an influential role in the vulnerability of the Turkana to the contraction and transmission of both TB and HIV-1/AIDS. The study also posits an integrated approach to the prevention of TB and HIV-1 and to the management of AIDS and TB.

KEEP HIV/AIDS ERADICATION HOPE ALIVE!!!
A cure for HIV is one step closer as scientists discover how to boost immune cells which can kill the virus.
Some infections, such as HIV, cannot be cured with antiviral therapy because the virus effectively hides from the immune system.
But an international team of scientists has discovered a specialised type of white blood cells can find these 'hidden' infected cells and destroy them.

World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the disease linked to the Zika virus a global health emergency. But guess what? The virus was modified in the labs in the US to achieve whatever results!
I just think that this is another weapon of biological warfare as part of the new world order aimed at controlling the world population. Imagine the mosquitoes carrying the virus were first released in Brazil, one of the most populous nations in the Americas. Apart from being responsible for underdeveloped brains in new born babies (microcephaly), the virus also causes miscarriage and thus prevents successful pregnancy and birth.
This virus has been put in the same category as the Ebola virus. Anyone remember the recent suspicious outbreak of Ebola in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea? And all US did was send its troops to go help in setting up tents for patients to be quarantined and treated? As if it needs any specialized skills to set up a tent. While Cuba sent several medical professionals including doctors with at least 15 years of experience. Cuba easily won that case of health diplomacy. The world will need Cuba again or someone else to rise to the occasion and win this new case of health diplomacy.

Article #3:- ...IGNORANCE DOES.
1st December, every year is HIV/AIDs day around the globe since 1988. A day dedicated to awareness of Aids pandemic caused by spread of HIV infection.
Millions of people have succumbed to this disease largely due to ignorance, especially the youths.
Quote-"Kissing and hugging doesn't spread HIV/AIDS. Ignorance does."
This is the reason why the number of people with this disease now is twice the number it was ten years ago.
Despite a steep road we are building, there is at least hope that it might be less vertiginous to us at some point. Right now people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS now have normal life expectancy. All we all need to do is rethink on challenges that come in-hand with this enigma:- outdated stereotypes, stigmatization, challenge of mysterious myths and eventually be positive about HIV and tell the truth about it, then we will achieve a lot towards eradicating it. Kenya is projecting this to 2030 and Turkana is also on board.
In Turkana, it is purely illiteracy and ignorance that dooms us. There were a times when we were rest assured that our remote rural areas (native: raya) are completely clean-meaning HIV/AIDS free. But what about now?
Its spreading mercilessly and people still ignore it basing on their different believes.
It is up to us who are aware of this pandemic and who can see what it is capable of and also know its matrix, to help others. Above all, God help us all. Some people say this is a god-sent disease that only God can out-wind -that is spiritual anyway.
