Edith Wairimu is emphasizing the central role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Church and every believer. The Kenyan Gospel musician warns that without His presence and leading, spiritual activities can lose their true meaning.

LESSONS LEARNT FROM DR Tumi WORSHIP SESSION
He started by honoring the host. When you enter into a new territory, sometimes giving honour becomes the password that you need to breakthrough. Guests don't appreciate hosts just as a churchy thing. It's a code that can easily earn you acceptance and ease as you minister.

He was conflicted which song to start with so he did a suggestion. Sometimes suggestions don't work effectively to create an awareness between you, God and the congregation. Sometimes it's a stage management issue. So he ended up performing a song that can't be performed but offered.

He was careful to operate within his authentic self and sound. He lined up his own compositions and it worked effectively horizontally. As a recording worship minister, when you are invited, many times people want to hear you singing your original songs. Unless you are a very spontaneous and prophetic worship minister, then doing your own songs is not illegal.

He was composed and his backup was super amazing. Just three of them but they sounded like tens. Which means you don't need a big team to be effective. You just need the right people. He equally operated within allocated timelines. Which is a discipline that I adore greatly.

Alikuwa amebakisha kidogo akuwe yielded then time ikaisha Na kau-celeb kakamsumbua sana. There will always be results for ministering to people and results for ministering to God. Both are healthy and they are for building the kingdom of God.
He came to edify the body of Christ and he did it gracefully.

LESSONS LEARNT FROM Ntokozo Mbambo WORSHIP SESSION.
She never introduced herself. The onscreen introduction was enough. She never wasted time telling people who she was.

She started with an hallelujah...the highest praise/worship....which means she was intending to keep it purely God. She was not intending to go to what entertains man but only what entertains God.

She introduced God's goodness immediately.
Her setlist was on God's goodness.
God expressed His goodness in the atmosphere. What you provoke about God in worship is what He reveals Himself to be as a reward and result of your posture.

She dwelt on a song long enough until the song made sense to everyone. She didn't rush through many songs. This is stability.

She brooded over the session musically until it hit a "maturity" level where everyone could pray then she handed over an opportunity to people to cruise into some sacred personal moments with God.

She understood in open air meetings, it's not everyone who has capacity to really dwell in the prayer-zone of worship for long....so she introduced another song without losing focus on God's goodness after a short period of prayer.

After the third song, she stepped out of the way as a minister and she entered into being a worshipper. She personalized her worship to God. She had her moments with God. She didn't just facilitate worship, she experienced what she was singing.

Did you know when you become personal in worship as a minister it becomes contagious? The more her moments with God became vulnerable the more people chased after their own moments with God.

After her moment of personalized time with God, she switched from God's goodness to high worship (alpha and omega).

The drummer kept giving her the intensity she needed. He literally amplified what her heart was communicating with grace.

Her spoken worship and her musical worship carried the same intensity.

She showed the reality of worship where she could be noisy in one moment and the next moment she was all tender, almost speechless and soft in the presence of God.

Finally, she ministered within the time allocated to her and she delivered.

Gospel music minister Edith Wairimu is encouraging believers to embrace seasons of hiddenness, reminding them that God's timing is always purposeful. Reflecting on Psalm 91:1, she urged Christians to find confidence in abiding under God's covering rather than seeking human recognition.

American gospel musician and pastor Travis Greene says that God uses seasons of hardship to prepare believers for a greater purpose.

Preaching a sermon titled "What God Can Do with a Lunchbox," Greene drew from the biblical account of David in 1 Samuel 17, arguing that David's journey to the battlefield began long before his confrontation with Goliath.

Greene noted that David was tasked with carrying food to his brothers who were serving in the Israelite army, explaining that the load was far heavier than many people imagine.

Referring to the biblical description of an ephah of grain, ten loaves of bread and ten portions of cheese, Greene estimated that David was carrying roughly 50 pounds over a distance of about 15 miles from Bethlehem to the Valley of Elah.

"He wasn't carrying a kindergarten lunchbox," Greene said. "He was sent on a journey with weight."

According to the pastor, the physical burden symbolized the spiritual and emotional responsibilities God entrusts to those He is preparing for greater purpose.

Greene suggested that David may have questioned why he was given yet another assignment while faithfully tending sheep and serving behind the scenes. However, he said David's mission was divinely appointed.

"It's your assignment. And you didn't choose it. The Father chose it for you," he said.

The preacher also reflected on David's relationship with his father, Jesse, observing that Scripture records little affirmation from Jesse toward his youngest son. Greene argued that God can use seasons of neglect to draw believers into a deeper relationship with Him.

"Sometimes God will allow the neglect of man to create capacity so you can know Him as a Father, as a Friend, as a Shepherd, as a Shelter and as a Provider," he said.

Greene went on to contrast the beginning and end of David's journey, noting that while he arrived at the battlefield carrying a heavy load of supplies, he left carrying the severed head of Goliath after Israel's victory.

"God's been preparing you. God's been training you. God's been setting you up as a giant slayer," he declared.

American Christian author, Bible teacher, and media personality Priscilla Shirer urges Christians to represent God with excellence in every sphere of society.

In an excerpt from a recent sermon, Shirer encouraged Christians to reflect on the unique purpose God has entrusted to them, saying every vocation offers an opportunity to reflect God's character.

"What is it that God has called you to do? Where has He placed you? What industry are you in? What assignment has He entrusted you?" she asked.

According to Shirer, a person's occupation is more than a means of earning a living, but a platform through which God can work in the lives of others.

"If you're a teacher, you're not just a teacher. You're God's representative in the classroom so that all those students get to see what God looks like when God teaches a lesson," she said.

"If you're a doctor, you're not just a doctor. You're God's representative in the medical field so that the entire medical field gets to see what God looks like when God heals a hurting body," she added.

Shirer also addressed members of the legal profession, saying lawyers have an opportunity to demonstrate God's justice and righteousness through their work.

"If you're a lawyer, you're not just a lawyer. You're God's representative to the Bar Association, so the whole legal profession gets to see what God looks like when God tries a case," she said.

Turning to those involved in advocacy and community development, Shirer said social justice practitioners should recognize their role in serving vulnerable communities.

"If you're a social justice advocate, you're God's representative so that the underprivileged and the marginalized get to see what God looks like when He brings equity to humanity," she said.

She further encouraged creatives to dedicate their talents to God's purposes, urging artists, musicians, writers and filmmakers to use their gifts in ways that honour Him.

"Are you an artist? You write the lyrics for the glory of God. Are you a film student? You write the script for the glory of God," she said.

"Whatever it is that you do, do it all for the glory of God," she concluded.

✅The world is full of bitter people. Unfortunately, many of those bitter people are in the church.
✅ Bitter people are very defensive.
✅Bitterness holds back the power of God more than alcohol and po*******hy.
✅Some bitter people are very spiritual which makes it hard for them to seek help.
✅Medical science has established that bitterness is the cause of about 50 sicknesses.
✅Proverbs 4:23 commands us to guard our hearts because they are the wellsprings of our lives.
✅The hearts of many people are poisoned by bitterness. Bitterness kills relationships, spiritual gifts, the work of our hands and progress.
✅Hebrews 12:14-15 teaches that bitterness defiles men and hinders people from walking in holiness. It also instructs us not to allow a root of bitterness to grow in us because it can cause trouble and defile many.
✅Roots are invisible but they supply plants with nutrition. Similarly, bitterness grows, destroys and defiles people by feeding their lives. Bitterness is poisonous.
✅Our lives can be compared to containers which have a limited capacity. Weshould remove bitterness so that we can create space for good things. Psalm 103:5.
✅We need to take an inventory of our hearts and remove all unprofitable things to make space or worthwhile things.
✅Bitterness, anger and rage make those who harbour them grow old faster than people who are not bitter because their youth is not renewed.
✅Bitterness is a heavy weight and it hinders believers from running their race of faith. It drains one's energy, passion and creativity.
✅When you forgive and let go, you do yourself a favour.
✅ Ephesians 4:26 permits us to be angry but commands us not to let the sun go down when we are still angry. We need to forgive fast.
✅Ephesians 4:31 (AMP) lists the things that happen when people are bitter which include wrath, resentment, quarreling, slander and malice.
✅ Bitter people are judgmental, critical, crybabies, hypocritical, finding fault, sensitive, take offense easily, ungrateful, hold grudges and have mood swings.
✅Bitter people are hurt either intentionally or unintentionally. Sometimes, bitterness is caused by a perception.
✅Bitterness hardens the heart, preventing one from receiving God's blessings and prevents people from attaining destiny.
✅Hurting people hurt others very easily.
✅Hope deferred makes the heart sick.
✅Genesis 4:1-8 teaches that Cain killed his brother Abel because he missed the opportunity to do what's acceptable. Grace can be defined as the desire and ability to do God's will.
✅Those who miss the grace of God in the church pray evil against others, get discouraged and seek to discourage others. They defile others by speaking against the good they do.
✅Jesus taught that offenses must come. His will is that we refuse to let them to hurt and embitter us.
✅The Bible emphasises that we should be ready to forgive others. Many believers are eager to receive God's mercy and forgiveness but they are not ready to extend the same to others. This should not be the case.
✅Matthew 18:21-35 documents the parable of the unforgiving servant. In it, Jesus highlights the need for His followers to have compassion on those who wrong us. God has forgiven us many sins but many people are unwilling to extend grace and forgiveness to others.
✅Bitterness is a prison that tortures the one who harbours it. It causes stagnation.
✅In Matthew 5:21-24, Jesus teaches that unforgiveness hinders our prayers and sacrifices.
✅Bitterness makes the one who harbours it a slave of the one they have not forgiven.
✅ Matthew 6:12 teaches that God forgives us if we forgive others.
✅Forgiveness is costly but worth it. We need the help of the Holy Spirit to offer it.
✅When you forgive, you set two people free and one of them is yourself.
✅Job 34:3 teaches us to taste the words we hear the same way the tongue tastes food. Bitter people speak distasteful words.
✅James 3:11-12 teaches that no spring produces both clean and salty water. Bitter people produce words that hurt others.
✅The people who hurt us are those who are closest to us such as our parents, children, spouses, workmates....

2. WORD PRONUNCIATION

Mumbling and swallowing words.
Open your mouth.
Say every word like you want people to hear it.

3. WEAK HOOKS

Chorus that people forget in 5 seconds.
Make it short, catchy, and repeatable. That’s what catches the listeners ear.

4.LACK OF CONFIDENCE

Sounding weak and scared on the mic.
Stand up, smile, and perform like 1000 people are listening.
Sing like you mean every word.

5.ZERO ADLIBS

Verse and chorus sound empty.
Add adlibs,makes the song feel full.
You can Adlib on a simple song and It will sound powerful .

6. NO EMOTION

You sang all the words right but we feel nothing.
Connect to the song.
Tell the story.
