My former neighbor was gorgeous. She was a single mother to a beautiful and bright girl. She was a marketer at one of these companies supplying internet to homes and offices. During her day-to-day interactions with people, she would meet rich men. Men that would drool at her beauty and promise her heaven.

At one point, she met a wealthy man who was supposedly single. He promised to change her life together with her daughter. He promised to let her taste the life of the affluent people. She would go for dates at high-end restaurants and come back loaded with shopping and cash. This lady was earning 20k but the man would give her 20k or more in one sitting.

She told us that she was planning to settle with him. Out of curiosity, I asked her to tell us a bit of his background. She informed us that the man had 3 baby mamas whom he didn't settle with. Maybe I'm wrong but how can 3 baby mamas all leave without the thoughts of coming back? None of them was chased away, they just left. This man tried the come-we-stay arrangements but they all failed.

I shared my sense of disquiet but she was set on him. Our mutual friends warned me to stop blocking her blessings and let her settle. They even ordered me to search for a rich man and avoid being jealous.

She settled and got pregnant immediately. The affluent life she was promised started fading away. The man became busy for dates. He was providing everything she wanted apart from attention and time. My neighbor was blessed with another baby girl.

Things changed to the worst. He turned out to be a horrible husband. Unapologetically promiscuous and very violent. A slap could land on her face at any time so she was always alert.

My neighbor couldn't take it, she left after a year with the baby and joined the list of the man's baby mamas.

I was hanging out with a friend in 2022. We took several photos and she posted them on her WhatsApp status.

Among the viewers was this stupid man called Alex who introduced himself as a bachelor. Alex asked my friend for my phone number so he could try his luck with me. He told my friend that I am his type according to how she described my personality.

We started chatting and Alex introduced himself as a millionaire with two baby mamas and three children. I asked him why he didn't marry his baby mamas and he informed me that one cheated on him and the other one is hardheaded. She doesn't listen to him and is full of insults like my aunt Akwanyi Ndondo . He admitted to supporting his children financially and spending most of his spare time with them.

Alex started telling me how he has various businesses and a marketing company reaping millions. He sent me photos of his cars that consisted of a Mercedes(I'm not sure which type)V8 and Toyota crown. I'm not sure if crown is Toyota and I'm not using Google. Search yourself.

He then sent photos of his flat roof house with a huge garden. It had swings and a tiny swimming pool. It has a gorgeous compound. He told me that his house was a five bedroom all ensuite and he had a gardener and a houseboy.

I didn't have much to say about myself but I told him that I have some small assets too like my chicken and ducks. I also had a cat. At least I can vaccinate the cat and sell it to a rich person.

This man would tell me about his life and how rich his father is. He would elaborate on his rich friends and how some businesses gave him a profit of 4M the previous month etc. It was all about his money. I smelled a rat.

I was in Mumias East at this time and he was in Nairobi. All these stories about his wealth happened in 2 days. Imagine in two days someone opening up to you a stranger about his millions?

Avoid dating broke girls! Most of them are not looking for love. They are looking for someone to rescue them. They want someone who can take them out of poverty. Such girls will disappear from your life the moment they start making it.

When a broke girl starts making it in life, she will leave you and follow the man of her dreams. This is because she was with you for the privileges she was getting.

I don’t know why most people have issues with men asking women what they can bring to the table? Only a lazy woman who has nothing to offer a man apart from her big nyash and bwess will be angry at a man who wants to know what she has to offer.

Ladies,step up your game. Gone are those days when women used to seat at home and wait for men to satisfy their needs. Go out and fend for yourself! Build yourself and earn respect from people.
