TREASURES
Diamonds and gold are not a true wealth
They're just an ornament that adds beauty while living on Earth
What we store in our hearts are the real treasure
Not those material things that give us pleasure.
The people we meet everyday
They leave footprints in our lives and stay
Some may not last forever
But their memories leave a mark that linger.
Their presence you always felt
The special bond you have built
They make you feel strong
Even when things go wrong.
The bond of friendship you share
The love, kindness and care
The adventures and adversities you both experience
Made you a person with resilience.
So treasure the friends that you have
Show them kindness and love
They're worth more than diamonds or gold
