We as Voice Of Bungoma CSOs Network, proudly appreciate the Haki Ni Yetu team for the visit made on Monday 17th.
This is a big achievement for us as Grantee of the Small grant Support on Access to information in Bungoma County.
We don't take it for granted. We promise to Continue with Community training and advocacy on Citizens Rights for development.
Our regards to Makky, Biko and Winnie. Further, We applaud the EU and KIOS Foundation for believing in us and identifying us among the many to manage the project.

Advocacy for Good Governce on the Roads sector. Today we on it again ! Second phase of Haki Ni Yetu Roads score card sessions. In Sitikho Ward, Mwangala Road Works .
This is a meeting at the Ngwelo Baptist church, Along Mwangala Road. More than 30 stakeholders gather, to Score County Government efforts on Roads. BQs were not available, County officer's we busy and could not attend....

The Voice Of Bungoma CSOs Network and other members of the Civil Society in Bungoma County, had an interactive meeting held at Milimani Gardens Hotel on Monday 3rd August.
We looked at the M&E report for programs of 25/26 . Many gaps were noted, Climate change docket had the highest disparities. Members proposed a social audit and hold culprits to book.
The second sector that had issues was Roads .The issues of Ghost Projects was flagged in other Sectors.

We demand for Good Governce and Accountability from the County Government of Bungoma . We as CSOs shall not tolerate corrupt Duty bearers to continue dragging us back.

A special meeting on the same is underway and the 2 Directors Climate Change and planning will be invited to attend.
Further , members proposed that no New projects should be initiated during the ADP 27/28

MENTAL HEALTH STAKEHOLDERS MEETING

Stakeholders in the Health Sector gathered for a one day Catch up meeting at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Eldoret, MTRH Nawiri Hall.
The meeting received reports from members in the regions, drew a yearly Work plan and put in place vital Committees for Sustainability. Committees formed included, Resource Mobilization, ICT and Communication.

Lastly , Membership Certificates were given out to full members in the Consortia. This is Power of Networking, Collaboration and Partnership.

This was a meeting of Nawiri Pamoja Kenya, A Mental health Consortia. Participants were drawn from Mombasa, Kiambu, Nakuru, Usain ngishu , Bungoma, Kisumu..... 12 Counties were represented.

Just realigning our Project work with donor requirements. Today our Secretariat started on a one week Monitoring and Evaluation of Works done in the last 3 Months.
On behalf of VOB Network , I thank the effort made by Mr.Ochuka, programs ,Clarah ,Finance and Joy , Logistics .
We are proud of the support by EU and KIOS a Haki Ni Yetu on Governance and Human Rights, with a specific focus on Roads in Bungoma County.

Reporting Timelines.

We have a deadline of June 30th to submit our Reports. Just trying our best today. Scanning, emailing and confirming reports. I applaud my able project team. Clarrah and Joy. Cheers !
