The Tokyo Beyond Music Festival is a unique 2-day showcase festival that brings together on the same stages, independent and small-label artists from both Japan and overseas. l is unique in that it is grassroots and organically run. There is no federal government sponsor underwriting the event. There are no major label executives dictating programming or direction. It is based on the collaborative efforts of independent artist managers, live music venues, small to mid-size labels, community event coordinators, as well as other interested supporters.
