"𝑨 𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏 𝑼𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑩𝒐𝒖𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒕"
🖊️: 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚
I was tired from my night shift, but I still needed to find gifts for my boyfriend. I went to a second-hand toy store and other places just to buy him things I knew he would use. I also bought a black bag for work. When I got home, I wrapped all his gifts to make them look cute. After spending a few hours wrapping, I finally cleaned up and got ready to go.
An hour passed. He was waiting at the exit of the train station, and we went to an Italian restaurant for dinner. While walking to his apartment, he kept asking what was inside the wrapped box. I just smiled and replied,
"𝘓𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳."
When we arrived at his apartment, he immediately went to shower. Since I was exhausted from the day, I just wanted to lie down first. A few minutes later, he was done and changed. I also went to shower since I hadn't dared to go earlier after working all night—𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘺!
After my shower, I changed. I opened the sliding door, and he put on music: "𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚" by Bruno Mars. He grabbed a bouquet and gave it to me. I was shocked, and my vision blurred.
"𝘖𝘩, 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴, 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺’𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯’"
We danced.
𝘏𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳, 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯’
I gave him a peck kiss.
"𝘚𝘩𝘦’𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭, 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘺"
We danced again, and he whispered, "The song is perfect, and look, there are earrings! Now they're complete: a ring, a necklace, and earrings." I nodded in agreement. I hadn't realized there were earrings inside the little cutie box.
"𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 (𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦, 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦) 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦"
I asked him to put the earrings in my ears, and he did.
"'𝘊𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 (𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨) 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 (𝘢𝘳𝘦)~"
He was patiently waiting for his gifts, but I just wanted to enjoy the moment and admire the flowers.
"Uhm, where are mine?" he asked.
I laughed at him. Yes, I was supposed to give him his gifts! I gave them to him, starting with the smallest and ending with the biggest. He was so happy when he opened the biggest one.
I'm glad he liked it.
