‼️🇧🇩Am I a bad Bangladeshi!!!🇧🇩‼️

🔙Background: it’s my very first semester in Japan. One of the foreigner professors (maybe he’s from England or America) of the campus always talk to me like how I am and like that.
p.s: I didn’t take any of his classes and we only met a few times in the elevator.

Today we met again in the elevator:

Me: Hello professor, good morning!

Professor: ohh, hi there!! I’m good. What about you?

Me: I’m good

Professor: so S(my name) where are you from?

Me: Bangladesh

Professor: WHAT!!!! (With a shocking face) oh no bad

Me: bad!! Anything wrong professor?

Professor: No I’m mean I’ve so many students from Bangladesh and they are very bad. No I meant I have both. I have one of my favourite students who is from Bangladesh but most of them are the worst. So… which one are you?!

Me: I’m so sorry for your experience, professor 😅

Professor: Hahaha… no worries, see you around.

⚠️Summary: It has always been this way. Because of a few strange, uneducated, and poorly behaved Bangladeshis, the rest of us are judged equally. In my opinion, this is completely unfair. My question to those individuals is: is that really how you want to represent your country and family? Doesn’t that matter to you at all?
