Nishinari is the poorest district in Osaka. When the economy declines, the poorest are hit the hardest, and many people in Nishinari struggle to survive every day. But Food Not Bombs Osaka is trying to help! On the 30th, we will be at Nishinari Triangle Park to cook for the homeless and distribute donations from the community. If you would like to help, we welcome any kind of donation!

If you’ve got reusable plastic cups, container - we can reuse them! Food Not Bombs is cooking donated food into delicious meals which they share in the community with individuals. sometimes have to BUY plastic containers because they run out when making 50-100 litres of soup or other yummy dishes. Also in need of black cloth for banner, a large stock pot, trays, BIG mixing bowls (not plastic) , paper cups, paper plates, bento box, measuring cups and spoons, pasta, rice, noodles, vegetables, cooking oil, spices and herbs, dishwashing soap, sponge, give aways ; toothbrushes, soap, blanket, clothes, shoes, gloves, socks etc. Because we just started we are also in need of printer, butane, paper, sewing machine (for pamphlets, cooking, making diy banners, etc) old but usable are welcome. Any donations that we can use or consume will do. Please message me and I’ll make sure they get them. Cash will always be well spent, but what they need more than ANYTHING is more hands to turn all this donated food into meals. If you have an hour or two on Saturday , Sunday or suggest any day I'll try to figure out to make it. Let's chat and organize this upcoming event. You can Contact Ashley & Rat.
