2024年4月15日から「技術・人文知識・国際業務（技人国）」ビザの審査ルールが変わりました👇
🔹 新規申請（海外 → 日本）
海外から日本で働くために申請する場合、CEFR B2（JLPT N2相当）レベルの日本語力が必須になりました。
例：ミャンマーなど海外から日本へ来てエンジニアとして働く場合
🔹 留学ビザ → 技人国への変更
日本の学校を卒業している場合は、日本語要件が要りません。
✅ 日本の高校、大学、短大、高等専門学校、専門学校（専門課程）
⚠️ 日本語学校だけを卒業した方は、日本語要件が必要です。
🔹 更新申請（ビザ延長）
今のところ、日本語要件の対象外です。
例：今のビザの期限が近づき、延長手続きが必要な場合
☞日本語試験について：
・JLPTに間に合わない場合、BJTは年4回（3か月ごと）受験できます。
・エンジニア職は専門性が重視されるため、N2がなくても申請はOK。
ただし、N2を持っていると審査がスムーズで安心です。

【Must Read】
From April 15, 2024, the screening guidelines for the Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services visa were updated.
🔹 New Application (From Overseas to Japan)
If you apply from outside Japan, CEFR B2 (equivalent to JLPT N2) Japanese level is now required.
Ex: An engineer coming from Myanmar to work in Japan.
🔹 Change of Status (Student → Engineer Visa)
If you graduated from a Japanese educational institution, the Japanese language requirement is waived.
✅ High school, University, Junior college, College of technology, Vocational school (senmon gakko – professional course)
⚠️ If you only attended a Japanese language school, the requirement still applies.
🔹 Visa Renewal (Extension)
Currently, the new Japanese language requirement does NOT apply to renewals.
Ex: When your current visa is expiring and you need an extension.
☞ About Japanese Exams:
・If you cannot take JLPT in time, BJT can be taken up to 4 times a year.
・For engineering positions, technical skills are prioritized, so N2 is not mandatory, but having N2 makes the process smoother and safer
