This was a big day for me, I bought my first designer piece from my favorite designer at their new store in Tokyo. One of the reasons I started making my own clothes in the first place was because I couldn’t find something that reflected who I was in stores or when I did it was always designer haha. And now when I go shopping I have the problem of just saying “oh well I can just make that” 😂 so I’m shifting my perspective to buying higher quality and less quantity and it feels super good.

I’m not wearing what I bought in these photos but I’ll post more about that later!

We are back! And just in time for my little Oliver’s 4th birthday! The boys flew home on Ollie’s birthday the day after I got home from Japan which added up to be a total of 21 days being separated from my babies 😭 I am so grateful to the family and friends that showed up to watch them while I was hospitalized and recovering, thank you all so much, you know who you are❤️❤️

This was one of the harder trials I’ve had to overcome. There was a lot of physical pain but emotional pain as well being so far away and being scared for my life before and after the surgery, but I truly felt pretty calm and peaceful I think due to all the prayers and the ways my friends and family showed up to make sure everything would be taken care of while we were away. Another tender mercy amongst the miracles along the way. I feel so blessed and am so happy to be back home. This trip really helped me gain a deeper appreciation for our quiet suburban boring but HAPPY life, I wouldn’t change a thing and didn’t feel any regret other then just wishing I would’ve spent more time playing with the boys and enjoying it more deeply.

I am still easing my way back into work so thank you for your patience and understanding with slow replies. Return and exchange windows will be lengthened due to this personal emergency.

I am excited to show more of the highlights from this trip but would’ve felt weird posting them without first acknowledging the most meaningful thing first❤️

Hi friends, This isn’t quite the Japan trip update I imagined sharing… but life had other plans.
While on a girl’s trip in Japan with family, I became very sick and had to undergo emergency surgery. It was unexpected and honestly a little scary, but I’m so grateful to be on the other side of it and recovering.
Because of this, I’ll be taking the next month to rest and heal. During that time, responses to messages and emails may be slower than usual, and I truly appreciate your patience.
Good news, orders will continue shipping as normal 🤍
The Brown Millie dress and Red Berry Jane Dress have started shipping! In addition, the Alli Blouse and Margot Dress will ship in the beginning of May.
