ティニ・ミウラ展「特別展 美しい本 製本装幀家 ティニ・ミウラのしごと」（仙台文学館 企画展示室 2026/4/25-6/28）へ行って来ました。

には、ちょうどワークショップの日でお会いできなかったけれど。
素晴らしい展示でした。一作品ずつに制作時間の蓄積がされているアートの回顧展なので、見て、受け止めるのにも時間がかかり、作品の密度がしっかりとあります。
キラキラ光る特殊革などを用いた、とても華やかな本。
函やマーブルも目を惹きました。そうしたことにも目が向けられるよう、親切なキャプションや、見返しが見られる角度や鏡のある展示になっています。
展示は7つのセクションに分かれ、冒頭に、学生時代に制作した装飾習作がありますが、それが既に半端ない出来映えで、天才ぶりを証明しています。
制作風景などの写真なども豊富で、アトリエのようすへの想像がつながります。
日本ではノーベル賞の額装の仕事が有名だと思います。
教育にも力を入れていたが、一人で制作をしていたこと、一点物以外にも量産本のブックデザインをしていたことなどは、初めて知りました。
仙台文学館の建築も、新幹線の旅も楽しんでいます。

It was a wonderful exhibition. Because it's a retrospective of art where each piece represents an accumulation of time spent creating it, it takes time to see and absorb the work, and the density of the pieces is very strong.
This is a very glamorous book, using special leather that sparkles.
The slipcase and marble design also caught my eye. The exhibition is designed with helpful captions and displays that allow you to see the endpapers from different angles, including mirrors, so that these details can be appreciated.
The exhibition is divided into seven sections, and at the beginning are decorative studies created during her student days, which are already incredibly impressive and prove her genius.
There are also plenty of photographs of the creative process, allowing you to imagine what her studio was like.
In Japan, she is probably best known for her work framing Nobel Prizes.
I learned for the first time that her worked alone, she also put a lot of effort into education, and that he designed books for mass production in addition to one-of-a-kind pieces.
I also enjoyed the architecture of the Sendai Literature Museum and the Shinkansen journey.
