途中経過。
深夜まで、作っては壊すことを繰り返し、ようやく形がまとまりつつあります。
下部に置いていた本やピアノも一度外し、椅子とともに再配置を重ねながら、しっくりくる位置を探りました。
鯨の配置も何度も変え、ようやく落ち着く場所が見つかりました。
明日、最後の装飾を施せば、ひとまず完成になるはずです。
もうこれ以上手を加えられない、というところまで辿り着いた時が、完成の合図だと思っています。

I have been building and dismantling the piece until late at night, and it is finally beginning to come together.
I removed the books and piano at the bottom once, and kept repositioning them along with the chair, searching for a place where everything would settle naturally.
The whale, too, has been moved countless times before finding its current position.
If all goes well, adding the final touches tomorrow should bring it to completion.
For me, a piece is finished when I reach the point where nothing more can be added or taken away.
