The TOKARA Taiko Bootcamp takes place during the beautiful Cherry Blossom season.
This intensive course allows the taiko practicioner to fully immerse themselves in the world of taiko from the heart of Japan...Nagano Prefecture.
Participants will undergo intensive taiko study of all original drills and composition during this two-week intensive course which creates an opportunity for participants to experience what it is like to train in and see first-hand the vast abundance of taiko styles throughout Japan.

This course fills up very quickly, so it is recommended to register very soon.

The TOKARA Wadaiko Camp (also known as TOKARA Boot Camp) takes place during the most beautiful time of year in Japan...Cherry Blossom Season

This course is designed for the purpose of bringing the taiko practitioner closer to understanding the art that is Wadaiko in Japan. For this reason, the training site, nestled between the mountains of Shimoina, was specifically chosen to enhance an experience and atmosphere which cannot be had in any other country of the world.

Participants will start with the traditional styles and techniques of the area and continue with original and complex compositions. It will be a great opportunity to experience first-hand, styles and techniques which are rarely known or taught outside of Japan.
