So happy to finally wear Vayne from to a gaming event! The props make me nervous to fly with so having Dreamhack in my local city was the perfect opportunity to bring her out!

I went on the most amazing safari tour in South Africa, thanks to ! Aquila Safari Park is 2.5 hrs outside of Cape Town and is an incredible vast animal reserve. The park is so big that it took another 2.5 hours to drive through it, and you can see from how BUMPY our truck ride was that we were truly in the wilderness! No paved roads, this place is not designed for humans. It is home to all these beautiful animals and we were merely humble visitors.

The highlight of the day was of course the lions! I got to go on a safari near Johannesburg several years ago and we only saw the shadow of a lion, far off in the distance. Never have I been this close to a lion outside of a zoo. It was incredible to see such a majestic animal relaxing in the sun.

But it also raises the question: If not friend, why friend shaped? 😫

Thank you again for this amazing core memory experience! The entire trip and comic con itself was perfect and I miss everyone in Africa!

Day 3 of ! Come see me on the Main Stage as Marvel Rivals Psylocke at 13:30 - 14:00, then at my table in Cosplay Central all afternoon (with breaks)!

We did craftsmanship judging for the Cosplay Championship all of yesterday! Everyone looked so good and I’m really impressed with the African community’s creativity and ingenuity!

Hope to run into other Marvel cosplayers today!

Next week! ! I’m so excited to return to South Africa after several years, and meet the local African cosplay community again!

Here is my tentative schedule and cosplay line up - my table will be in Cosplay Central and my main focus will be judging the Comic Con Cape Town Cosplay Championship! I wish all the contestants the best of luck in finishing their preparations and look forward to seeing their work up close.

I decided to bring 3 of my favorite costumes, Street Fighter 6 Chun-Li on Thursday, Marvel Rivals Psylocke on Saturday, and Belle on Sunday for the Main Stage competition! On Friday we are craftsmanship judging all day so no cosplay.

I will share the stage with for the Q&A sessions - please come and get to know us!

I’m also bringing lots of prints and stickers for my autograph sessions at the guest table. Please do come visit me there for a chat, signature and selfie!

This is my first time visiting Cape Town! What are your recommendations for sights, activities and food? We have a few limited days to explore and I am a bit overwhelmed by the options!

I love jellyfish and designed an original costume inspired by them! I last wore it on and grabbed a few photos in one of the fancy ship lounges.

The entire costume was made by me and consists of a corset with detachable shoulder ruffle, 3 layered skirt with tendrils, custom matching shoes and hair piece, and many plastic clear balls and led string lights. I heat treated many many organza “petals” to create that organic jellyfish membrane effect.

This costume is several years old but still held up well. I just had to replace a few of the light strands and put in new batteries.
Should I bring her to more cons?
