Protecting Our Oceans, One Dive at a Time 🤿✨

We sat down with Tom Geer, Owner and SSI Instructor at Aquanauts Grenada, and Nkosi Thomas, Aqua Ranger and SGU Marine Biology student, to hear the one message they’d share with visiting divers about ocean protection.

Tom spoke passionately about the importance of lionfish eradication, while Nkosi shared his most memorable diving experience, a reminder of the magic beneath the surface that we all have a role in safeguarding. 🐠💙

🌊 Meet Neal Mader, Managing Director of Dive Grenada 🤿
Known for personalized, small group diving, Neal and his team also lead the Grenada Artificial Reef Project (GARP), launched in 2013 just off Grand Anse Beach.

What started with a single pyramid of cinder blocks has grown into a thriving reef corridor, with 100 pyramids installed by 2024. GARP provides a sustainable home for marine life and shows how local action can fight back against climate change, storm damage, and overfishing. 💙
