I provide an exceptional product with premium/exotic woods, and precious stone inlay. WELCOME to MAVnificent Creations! What does MAVnificent stand for? To put it simply, it’s a spin on the word magnificent with the first three letters being my initials in capital letters. I’m in my 40’s and I’ve always been an aficionado of the Art’s. My journey started in 2006 at a local event that would mark me

for over a decade and transition into learning a skill/trade for personal reasons and then turning it into a business. Long story short: In 2006 I went to the NM Wine Festival during the Labor Day weekend in Bernalillo, NM and almost immediately I was drawn to a local artisan booth who was selling live-edge wood products with precious stone inlays and epoxy. There was one product that took my breath away and I really wanted it. It was a very large walnut live-edge round table with epoxy and turquoise inlay price at $23k (out of my budget) but I made the mistake of trying to negotiate the price and I was willing to part with $19k but the artist/vendor wouldn’t budge, and he declined my offer. I felt some kind of way, but life went on and I buried the memory. Then in 2017 while on Instagram I came across some content of wood & epoxy pendants. The artist did an amazing job so much so that I had to buy one for my wife and gifted it to her for our wedding anniversary that year. She received so many compliments on that piece and continues to receive. I started becoming obsessed with that kind of content and it wasn’t long before I came across a YouTube Influencers page and started viewing all his content. Then on Wed, Oct. 24, 2018, I flew out to Medford, OR to take a 2-3 day epoxy resin course with that specific YouTuber. The experience was life changing. So, I continued to educate myself with the process, procedure, the science, the tools, the pro’s & con’s until I made my first investment in tools & materials in May 2020 and the rest is history. Since then, I’ve continued to grow in knowledge and techniques. I told myself, “If I’m going to do this as a business venture then I would do it the right way”. For me that meant investing in quality tools and premium materials. I must have spent over $50k but with the support of my wife we went forward. Since then, I’ve done over 60 projects, and I’m always refining my skills and techniques in order to provide premium functional art. If you made it this far, please consider supporting me by following me on my Social Media platforms, like, comment and share. This doesn't cost you, anything… but if you like what you see and want to invest in a piece of functional art please consider sending me a DM.

I can't stress this enough it is very important to invest in quality tools when you're trying to do a small startup business. I received this several weeks ago however just this past weekend it with my .2 he assisted me in putting it together and for the time being we're going to keep it at his garage due to the lack of space on my end. This is a fairly expensive tool however definitely worth every cent and the router of choice is 15A / 3¼ hp Dual Mode Precision Plunge Router and I spared no expense on the bit which is manufactured by this setup all together was a investment of roughly $1,900

Check it out I finally unboxed it and will be putting it to use

Almost lost my right eye 😱 this weekend and ended up going to the ER. I was in the middle of doing some CNC work on my Padauk/Walnut engrain cutting board when I experienced some kickback and sawdust came into my eye 😡 I'm better now and wanted to thank my .2 for assisting me where I left off.

As I'm building out my lil workshop, I'm invested in quality tools and making my purchases with a purpose. I have several routers including one handheld and they work just fine however this particular router will be used to flatten accent tables, tables and desks. The goal was always to focus manufacturing on tables. Cutting boards & charcuterie serving trays were a stepping stone to reach that goal. I can't wait till my router sled comes in and I put this to use.
