The Swing Freaks is a Swing dance community in Trieste! Come and join us for Lindy Hop / Solo Jazz / Balboa / Blues / Shag / Charleston...

We met in April 2014 on the first swing dance workshop in Koper, later we started to meet and dance on our own. At first we practiced each Friday evening in local bars and during the summer on the beach. In the meantime we started going to classes in Ljubljana, festivals at home and abroad, improving and expanding our swing dances. Our love for the swing culture prompted us to share this love with more people on the coast, so we established The Swing Freaks. The Swing Freaks is now active throughout the Trieste-Koper coastal region. We organize classes, swing practice evenings, dance parties, concerts, festivals and picnics. And whenever possible we like to show the world the beauty of swing and jazz dance! The Swing Freaks exists and continues to thrive because of the energy and vision of many individuals who contribute to the community. Come, join us, dance with us!

OCTOBER = EXCHANGE MONTH! 💥🇦🇹

Remember when the Lindy Cats came to Trieste last April?
Well… now it’s our turn. 👀

From October 16–18, the Cats & Freaks Exchange is back for Chapter Two: this time we’re heading to Graz for a whole weekend of dancing, music, parties and, of course, Cats & Freaks together again. 💛

But October doesn’t stop there:
⚡ 25 OCT — Fast Feet Night
🎃 31 OCT — Halloween Party

Three weekends. Three good reasons to dance.

😎 | Some call him a teacher. We call him an DOC Freak.

Nejc was one of the people who brought Lindy Hop and Balboa to Slovenia in the early 2000s. Pretty cool, right?

Since then, swing has been a big part of his life.

🍷👀 | And when he’s not talking swing, try asking him about natural w**e. Just make sure you have enough time!

💛 | Špela is one of the pillars of the Swing Freaks.

She brings together years of experience in both dancing and teaching, with a special talent for making even the smallest details matter.

✨ | Precise, passionate, and always ready to share her love for swing.

🇵🇹 | It’s Pedro Vieira from Portugal!

We can’t wait to meet him... and see him dance!

La risposta giusta non esiste. 💥
