Vienna, I’m home, and tonight is personal.🇦🇹

Dorabella and I go way back. She’s the role with which I started my career back in 2009 in Munich. I discovered very quickly that SHE was my alter-ego, my sister, my friend, someone I completely understood and could empathize with.

I’ve been so lucky to bond with her while performing Cosí almost annually for the past 17 years, not to mention being lucky enough to record her for Deutsche Grammophon.

What makes this run even more special: I’m reuniting with the wonderful on the podium — the last time we made music together was my Rosenkavalier debut over a decade ago. And I’m sharing the stage with Christopher Maltman who I made my Vienna debut alongside, as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia back in 2015. “Full circle” doesn’t begin to cover it.

Here’s to four nights of Mozart Magic! ❤️

✨ Vienna, I'm coming back! ✨

I'm thrilled to return to the beautiful Wiener Staatsoper this June as Dorabella in Mozart's Così fan tutte.

There is something magical about performing this masterpiece in one of the world's most iconic opera houses. I can't wait to share the stage with an extraordinary cast and bring this witty, heartfelt, and timeless story to life.

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from somewhere between rehearsals and a little bit of magic…

There’s something about today that feels like music itself — joyful, unexpected, and full of heart. 💚

As an opera singer, I live for those moments on stage where everything aligns — the orchestra breathes with you, the story comes alive, and for a second, it feels like pure luck… but we know it’s really passion, discipline, and a touch of faith.

Today I’m celebrating the journey — the long rehearsals, the laughter backstage, the beautiful chaos, and the people who make it all worth it.

May your day be filled with music, courage, and just enough Irish luck to remind you that magic is always closer than you think. ✨

Sláinte! 🍀

It’s been incredible singing on the same stage where legends like Maria Callas and Luciano Pavarotti stood. The composer is one of the favorite roles, so that makes it even more fun!

Dearest friends! I can’t believe I get to go “home” this Christmas and make music with the incredibly talented violinist, in her beautiful program entitled, Joy to the World!

Please join us in a special evening of sacred music, dance, and inspiring stories that will be sure to fill you with the spirit of CHRISTmas. 🎄

Please tell your family and friends in the USA and let me know if they come so I can personally greet them after the show!

Thank you for bringing the Christmas Spirit into the lives of those you love.

Sending you so much love,
Angie ❤️

“To hear the rest, you gotta pay.” 😂

Thanks to my kind colleague for catching this moment at the end of my aria this morning at the Sitzprobe.

It doesn’t matter how many times I have sung a particular role, singing with the orchestra for the first time (Sitzprobe) always produces a nervous energy within me. I always leave feeling I could have done better. This is literally the face I made after finishing this aria 🥴)

But I am learning that the more I embrace where I am on my vocal journey, the less anxious I am and more joy I can experience.

Sitzprobe might continue to just be uncomfortable and difficult for me (anyone else?) but I can be compassionate with myself as I allow every experience to be another tick on my vocal timeline - it’s all working for my good- all of it.

Opening night is this Sunday!
