Yesterday I had a lovely time downtown at the Holiday Market hosted by CBRE events! It’s such a fun time to chat with customers and really reminds me of why I choose to paint architectural subjects around the world. I get to hear about hope-filled travel plans, special family vacations, honeymoon getaways. We eagerly share our travel experiences with a glimmer of adventure in our eyes. It’s a moment of connection that I really enjoy and cherish. Don’t forget to check out my watercolor prints as you are thinking about Christmas gifts this season :) I have a full stock ready to ship. Have you ever sent an awkward message sent to a friend after months (or years?) of not talking because life just rolls on. “Hi….I’m thinking of you! I’ve got so much to tell you about.” That’s me right now with this post. :)

I’m still over here creating things and have so much to share! This particular watercolor is a Beaux-Art style building from the US Naval Academy. After looking over my documentation from last year, I’m realizing how many clients have opted for panoramic sized commission paintings. What do you think? Would you pick a standard size or a custom panoramic size?

There’s nothing like a finished piece that I can proudly document and show off! Usually at this point, I am eager to send the watercolor on its way so that my client can see it in person. As much as the painting means to me, it means that much more for them. Each commission request comes with an idea wrapped in love and memory. What a joy to capture that feeling and pass it on.
