🚨🚨🚨We are beyond happy to announce our partecipation to from 2nd to 4th February 2023 in Nantes. 🚨🚨🚨
We have many interesting activities we will be involved in:
👾 A book presentation of our latest book by and Flavio Moriniello, who will be with us in person!
Saturday 4th February at 2 pm, at
👾 we will have our table at the bookfair e inside Europa Nantes, set to open on 4th February from 2 to 6 pm, where we’ll also present a temporary exhibition by Bacci and Moriniello.
👾 A round table concerning the theme “photography and action in Italy”, a conversation between us and our friends of .magazine and .
Saturday 4th February at 6 pm, Europa Nantes.

✨The result of our first Online residency with and Moriniello is officially out on Fotonica’s website!! ✨

In 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 n̶o̶t̶ 𝘣𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦, Lorenzo Bacci and Flavio Moriniello reflect on the role of the image in the age of hyper-diffused and hyper-participated information, on the need to produce visual evidencies that place the individual in a certain place and time. [..]
Within a continuous process of cancellation and concealment of the device, the authors ironically allude to the ambiguity of the gesture and to the power that such tools, like weapons, can exercise over the same individuals who wield them. […]

Lorenzo Bacci (1989) and Flavio Moriniello (1986) work as an artist duo since
late 2018, their headquarter is based in Milan, Italy.
Regardless holding titles from non-art-related fields (BA in Economics for Bacci and MSc in Physics for Moriniello), both of them got a MA in Photography and Visual Design at NABA (Milan).
They have been pursuing their work through a multidisciplinary approach based on a strong projectual attitude. Their research revolves around the relationship between man and technology, facing contemporary issues to postulate nearfuture scenarios.
