Deep in hibernation and create mode this time of the year, but I come out of the woodworks to be extroverted for lunar new year in the and for the awards night with the award night. Awards night is at this year which is exciting. Anywho, looking forward to seeing y'all's faces irl again. Be sure to stop me and say hi! Here's some photos of artwork and some sewing projects from the last couple weeks. SO much new art, I'm not even joking, so much art.

Update: When chatting with colleagues and mentors about actions steps in my journey, making art was a no brainer for me being an artist. As part of my ongoing repair, I am donating a new piece of light art to Tacoma Light Trail this year, one I created specifically to honor healing, growth, and community. Using my art in a way that reflects love, reflection, and connection feels like an important step, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute something meaningful. This piece can be viewed at Mecca Mercantile on Antique Row in Tacoma. Check it out along with some other amazing art from some of my favorite local artists! And don't forget to go to a lantern making workshop at one of the libraries. There's 2 left, December 13th at swasey and December 20th at moore branch. New Year's Eve party at tollfeson plaza downtown!
