The Cleghorn Family The Cleghorn family exists to glorify God through the ministry of song.

The man who wrote this song has now earned the well-deserved rest that he wrote about, sang about, and joked (often) about. Darrell Ray's impact on those around him was profound. Everybody loved him! He will be sorely missed by all those who were blessed to know him or sing his music.

Hi, folks! Long time no see! As many of you know, we are spread acorss different states these days with McCoy and Rayce working full time in Pigeon Forge, and Tahauny and Duke working full time in Alabama. Obviously this means we don't get to travel anymore, and we don't often get to sing together, but we recently had the opportunity of singing once again on Alabama Gospel Roots. The folks over at Gospel Roots are a second family to us, and we're always glad to appear on the show. Here's the episode! We start singing at about the 28 minute mark. Enjoy! God bless, y'all. 💙

All four of us will be performing this weekend (with DreamWeavers theater) at the Princess Theater in Decatur, AL, in “Hello, Dolly!” This is the first time in TEN YEARS that all four of us have been onstage together in a musical. Come see us if you can!

We had the great privilege of being invited to perform with the Wallace State Community College concert choir in their show, Down By The Riverside: The Roots of Gospel Music. Rayce is a current student at WSCC, Tahauny, Duke, McCoy, Carol, and Derek are all alums of WSCC. Duke served as the music director/pianist for the show, Tahauny and McCoy served as the choreographers for the show, and Rayce was a section leader/dance captain for the performing groups. Mom and Dad were special guest artists. Then we got to take the show to Europe! All six of us were together in Europe—thanks to some truly amazing people—and it was amazing! We made some incredible memories, met amazing people, and got to share some great gospel music. This is It Is Well with my soul.

We were so honored to sit down with our friend, Gail Crutchfield, to discuss our time(s) at Wallace State. This school will always feel like home, and we know that God placed each of these special individuals in our lives to bless us. Roar Lions!

In our final Community College Month story, we shine the spotlight on the Cleghorn family. The children of WSCC Alumni, these four siblings have made a huge impact on the Wallace State Fine and Performing Arts programs. With youngest sibling Rayce expected to transfer after this semester, tomorrow night's performance for "Spring Under the Stars" (6:30 p.m. at the Burrow Center) could be the last time the siblings perform for the college with at least one of them enrolled as a student.
