We looked right here around us for people capable of creating something remarkable. We found many—people inspired by their art or by their love for the land—who, through their work, remind us how fortunate we are to live here.

Then there are those who are less fortunate, because they are busy building weapons or searching for an enemy to use them against. They have no time to devote to anything else. They are poor in spirit.

A thought, of course, goes to those who are truly less fortunate, those living under the bombs. But for those who waste their time because they are empty within, we dedicate nothing—because nothing is what they deserve.

In these few days, we will do our best to fill all the time you choose to spend with us with beauty and goodness, leaving no space within you that is not touched by it.
